Philosophy of Education explores what constitutes education and what the conditions of education might be, by means of being astonishing at a mystery of education and human formations. We consider, for example, fundamental educational aims, the meaning and contents of educating, being educated, and learning, and the spiritual, artistic, moral, and transcendent human formations, with the reference of western and Japanese philosophy and pedagogy.
